Abstract

The article provides a theoretical justification for improving the effectiveness of physical education of school-aged children through the integration of different types of motor activity in extracurricular settings. The study analyzes the current state of the problem and reveals that the fragmented use of individual physical activities does not ensure a comprehensive development of physical qualities and functional capabilities of students. The potential of combining aquatic activities with outdoor-based physical practices is substantiated as a complementary approach that enhances the overall impact on the organism.

The specific effects of such integration on the development of endurance, strength, coordination, adaptive capacity, and psycho-emotional state of schoolchildren are identified. The study emphasizes the importance of implementing a comprehensive methodological approach that includes systematization, variability, differentiation, and practical orientation of training sessions. A structural and content-based model of sports training is proposed, incorporating target, content, procedural, and result-oriented components, and implemented through consecutive stages.

Special attention is paid to the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed model, including physical, functional, motivational, and personal indicators. The findings demonstrate that the integrated use of diverse motor activities contributes to a higher level of physical fitness, improved health status, development of essential life skills, and increased motivation for regular physical activity.

The results confirm the effectiveness and pedagogical feasibility of the proposed approach, highlighting its potential for implementation in modern physical education practice. The integration of various forms of motor activity ensures a holistic development of students’ personalities and enhances the overall efficiency of extracurricular physical training.
