The article considers modern approaches to the use of respiratory gymnastics in complex physical therapy of children with frequent diseases of the respiratory system. The relevance of the use of breathing exercises is substantiated in view of the high prevalence of respiratory pathology in childhood and its negative impact on the functional state of the respiratory system, physical performance and motor activity of children.
The purpose of the study was to theoretically substantiate and systematize modern approaches to the use of respiratory gymnastics in complex physical therapy of children with frequent diseases of the respiratory system. The work uses methods of theoretical analysis, synthesis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature.
The main principles of the use of respiratory gymnastics are determined: individualization, gradualness, systematicity and accessibility. The expediency of combining breathing exercises with general developmental exercises, dosed walking, mobile games and exercises for the development of endurance, coordination, balance and flexibility is substantiated. The focus is on the formation of the correct respiratory stereotype, the development of diaphragmatic breathing, control and gradual lengthening of the exhalation, as well as coordination of breathing with movements. The importance of a game approach, adequate dosage of physical activity, control of the child's reaction to classes and compliance with safety principles is determined. The need for active involvement of parents in the physiotherapy process and the organization of safe home activities is emphasized. It is concluded that the complex use of respiratory gymnastics is aimed at improving breathing control, increasing tolerance to physical activity, expanding motor activity and optimizing the child's participation in everyday life.
