Terms of Publication

The editorial board of the scientific journal “PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT: SCIENTIFIC PERSPECTIVE” accepts original research articles presenting the results of fundamental and applied studies in the field of physical culture, sport, physical education, sport science, health-preserving technologies, and related scientific areas.

The scope of the journal includes, in particular:

  • theory and methodology of physical education;
  • theory and methodology of athlete training;
  • sports medicine and physical rehabilitation;
  • health-preserving technologies in physical culture and sport;
  • management, psychology, and pedagogy of sport;
  • modern technologies and innovations in the field of physical culture and sport.

Publication Language

Articles are accepted in Ukrainian, English, and Polish.

Manuscripts submitted in English or Polish must be prepared at a high academic level and properly edited.

Manuscripts containing numerous language errors or prepared exclusively using automatic translation tools may be rejected by the editorial board.

Submission of Materials

The manuscript should be submitted in electronic form:

  • through the article submission system on the official website of the journal;
  • or by e-mail to the editorial office with subsequent submission through the journal system.

After submission, changes in the list of authors are not allowed, except in justified cases approved by the editorial board.

Author Information

A separate file containing information about the authors in Ukrainian and English must be submitted with the manuscript.
If the article is submitted in Polish, author information in Polish must also be provided.

The following information should be included:

  • surname, first name, and patronymic of the author;
  • academic degree and academic title (if available);
  • position and full name of the institution;
  • postal address of the institution;
  • ORCID;
  • contact e-mail address.

File Requirements

File names must correspond to the surname of the first author.

Review Process

The date of submission is considered to be the date when the manuscript is received by the editorial office.

All manuscripts undergo a peer-review process.

Manuscripts that do not meet the formatting requirements or fall outside the scope of the journal may be rejected by the editorial board without further consideration. Authors will be notified of the decision by e-mail.
