The article addresses the relationship between quality of life and life satisfaction of higher education students in contemporary settings. The paper analyzes modern approaches to improving the quality of physical education and health-enhancing services, taking into account the quality of life and life satisfaction of students, identifies key factors that affect these parameters, and proposes effective strategies for their optimization. The following methods were used in the study: sociological, assessment of quality of life using the SF-36 Health survey questionnaire, the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), which measures the subjective aspects of well-being, and mathematical statistics. The results obtained showed that students with a higher level of physical activity demonstrate a higher level of life satisfaction and better scores of physical and mental conditions. The study revealed gender differences in the perception and assessment of the quality of physical education and health-enhancing services. Female students more often noted the impact of physical activity on their mental-emotional status, while male students were more focused on improving their physical fitness. This underscores the necessity for the development of diversified physical education and health-enhancing programs, with a focus on the distinct needs of various student populations. The analysis of the level of accessibility and quality of PE in higher education institutions indicates the need to improve organizational and methodological approaches to their provision. The findings of this study are of practical importance for improving the efficiency of the organization of physical education and health-enhancing activities in higher education institutions and can be used to improve the quality of services.
