The war in Ukraine led to an unprecedented increase in the number of veterans and people with disabilities, which made it necessary to create a systemic model for the development of adaptive sports and physical education.

The purpose of the article is to scientifically substantiate a hybrid Ukrainian model of the development of adaptive physical education and sports activities, which integrates international standards (ICF, IPC Classification Code, coaching training framework) taking into account specific Ukrainian ones.

The international experience of Canada, Poland, Lithuania, Japan and South Korea, which have their own national models for the development of adaptive sports and physical education, is analyzed. In Canada, adaptive sports are integrated into the national Active Living strategy, in Poland and Lithuania, state support is combined with the activity of local communities, in Japan, a strategic plan for the development of sports and physical education with an emphasis on innovative technologies has been implemented, in South Korea, adaptive sports are integrated into the health care system. The Ukrainian model should be based on international standards (WHO, 2001; IPC, 2024; ICCE, 2013), but take into account national conditions: a high number of veterans, limited funding and regional imbalances. The proposed architecture includes management and financial, educational and personnel, infrastructure and social integration blocks. The logical and structural scheme provides for the transformation of resources into processes and results leading to the final consequences - improving health, social integration and compatibility with the international system. The implementation of the model will ensure the sustainability of programs and integrate the Ukrainian system of adaptive physical education and sports activities into the international space.
Oleg BAZYLCHUK Tatiana CHOPYK Copyright (c) 2025 Олег БАЗИЛЬЧУК, Тетяна ЧОПИК https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 7 16 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.1 CLIENT-CENTERED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY APPROACHES IN RESTORING FUNCTIONAL INDEPENDENCE OF MILITARY PERSONNEL WITH COMBAT-RELATED INJURIES https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/506
The full-scale war in Ukraine has underscored the critical need for effective rehabilitation strategies tailored to military personnel with complex combat-related injuries. Conventional biomedical rehabilitation models, which often prioritize the restoration of physical functions, fall short in addressing the multifaceted needs of these individuals, whose injuries frequently combine physical trauma with significant psycho-emotional challenges, such as post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. This necessitates a shift towards a more holistic, client-centered approach that views the service member as an active partner in their recovery, not a passive recipient of care. This methodology, widely supported by international best practices, focuses on restoring meaningful life occupations, roles, and activities as the primary goal of therapy.

The purpose of this article is to provide a theoretical substantiation and practical analysis of client-centered approaches in occupational therapy aimed at restoring the functional independence of military personnel with combat trauma. The study highlights the pivotal role of occupation-based interventions as a core principle of the rehabilitation process and advocates for the integration of the biopsychosocial model into contemporary occupational therapy practice. A key focus is to identify the most effective assessment tools for objectively measuring functional status and integrating the patient's subjective priorities, which is a major unresolved issue in the domestic context.

Through a comprehensive literature review and an analysis of international experience from countries such as the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, the study confirms that multidisciplinary and client-centered assessment tools are crucial for successful rehabilitation. Tools like the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) are found to be highly effective in identifying patient-prioritized goals. A survey of occupational therapists in Ukraine, however, reveals that while there is awareness of such tools, the most commonly used instruments remain the Barthel Index and Functional Independence Measure (FIM), which are simpler but less sensitive to individual goals and holistic outcomes. The findings indicate a critical need for the systematic adoption and cultural adaptation of modern client-centered assessment instruments within the Ukrainian rehabilitation system.

The article concludes that for Ukrainian occupational therapy to meet the complex needs of military personnel with combat trauma, it must embrace a client-centered philosophy, prioritize occupation-based interventions, and integrate validated assessment tools that support a biopsychosocial model of care. This will enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation plans and ensure a more complete functional independence and social reintegration of veterans.
Inna SOLTYK Copyright (c) 2025 Інна СОЛТИК https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 17 31 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.2 FORMATION OF SUSTAINABLE MOTIVATION IN CHILDREN 4–6 YEARS OLD FOR ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS USING THE AUTHOR'S METHODOLOGY “SPORTS TRACK” https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/504
Organizing rhythmic gymnastics classes for preschool children requires consideration of their psychophysiological development, which is characterized by the leading role of play, the need for constant emotional reinforcement, and the predominance of figurative thinking. The formation of stable motivation at this stage is possible through the integration of physical exercises with role-playing and narrative elements, which ensure engagement and foster a positive attitude toward training. This paper presents the results of a pedagogical experiment aimed at testing the effectiveness of the author’s method Author's Warm-up Method "Sports Track" for Children 4–6 Years in Rhythmic Gymnastics, designed with a play-based framework and the gradual development of basic physical qualities. The experiment involved two groups of children aged 4–6 years (12 participants in each), which allowed for a comparison between the traditional training program and the “Sports Track” method. The study assessed attendance, motivational involvement, emotional state, and the outcomes of basic motor tests. The results revealed that in the experimental group attendance increased from 82 % to 95 % (compared to 83–86 % in the control group), the average emotional state score rose from 3.4 to 4.6 points, and motor performance indicators (balance, flexibility, rhythm) improved by 40–50 %, whereas in the control group the growth ranged only from 9 % to 14 %. Qualitative analysis confirmed higher independence, more active participation in narrative-play exercises, improved group interaction, and the development of intrinsic interest in training. According to parents’ feedback, children were more eager to attend classes, demonstrated exercises at home, and expressed positive emotions about gymnastics. Thus, the proposed method has proven its effectiveness as a tool for building stable motivation and improving the quality of initial sports training among preschool children.
Olha KVACH Copyright (c) 2025 Ольга КВАЧ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 32 41 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.3 FORMATION OF RHETORICAL COMPETENCE AMONG STUDENTS OF NON-PHILOLOGICAL SPECIALITIES WITHIN PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED DISCOURSE https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/488
The article explores the process of developing rhetorical competence among students of non-philological specialities within the framework of professionally oriented discourse. To achieve the goal the analysis of video recordings of competitive activity of judoists was used in the research. When analyzing video recordings of competitive activity 3 fights of each of sportswomen of the control (n=10) and experimental (n=10) groups were analyzed. In total 30 fights of sportswomen of the control and 30 fights of sportswomen of the experimental groups were analyzed. The following techniques were found to be highly effective in both groups: arm turn and landing. Also, such throws as a hook from the inside under the p/n, a hook from the inside under the o/n, with the foot emphasis in the stomach have an efficiency of 25-33% and very often these throws are included in combinations of techniques. It was established that the inverts were performed the greatest number of times, but had a low efficiency (control group 11%; experimental group - 17%). The second technical action which was more often performed by sportswomen of both groups is a hold (control group - 30 %; experimental - 27 %) which had rather high efficiency (control group - 62 %; experimental - 67 %) in comparison with other technical actions. The analysis of technical and tactical indicators revealed that combinations of techniques and counter moves were performed almost the same number of times by athletes of both groups (control group 52 and 48 %; experimental group - 44 and 56 %). But counter moves were more effective (control group - 60 %; experimental group - 50 %). It was found that the athletes of both groups received remarks for not fighting (control group - 13 remarks; experimental group - 11) and pulling into the floor (control group - 4 remarks; experimental group - 5). It was found that most of the fights of athletes of both groups ended early, only one fight of each group was held in additional time.
Eduard PANIN Natalya BOYCHENKO Copyright (c) 2025 Едуард ПАНІН, Наталя БОЙЧЕНКО https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 51 58 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.5 PROBLEMS AND SPECIFIC FEATURES OF GENDER EQUALITY IN OLYMPIC AND PROFESSIONAL SPORTS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/492
In today's society, sport is not only a component of human physical development but also a powerful social tool that shapes values, norms, and behavioral patterns. The author emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to the study of sport as a social, economic, and cultural phenomenon. Particular attention is paid to gender equality in sport. The author reveals the impact of gender differences on the psychological and physical training of athletes; gender discrimination in professional sports, including inequality in representation, sexism, problems of sports language and media coverage; women's experience in sports management, including barriers to career growth and strategies for overcoming discrimination; differences between the concepts of ‘sex’ and ‘gender’ in the sports context. In general, the author emphasizes the need to transform the sports culture, develop a gender-sensitive approach, and implement systemic changes to ensure equality in Olympic and professional sports.

The purpose of the article is to study and discuss the problem and peculiarities of gender equality in Olympic and professional sports.

The analytical study and discussion of the problem and peculiarities of gender equality in Olympic and professional sports allow us to draw the following conclusions. In particular, the relevance of the problem of gender equality in Olympic and professional sports is beyond doubt. Despite progressive changes and positive trends in recent years, gender inequality remains a systemic problem at the global level. The key issues are centered around women's limited access to certain sports, unequal pay, insufficient media coverage, low representation of women in governing bodies, and the persistence of stereotypes and sexism in the professional environment.

Professional sports demonstrate a particular acuteness of the problems of financial and media inequality, which are related to market mechanisms that have not yet been significantly adapted to the principles of gender equality.

Olympic sport, although it has a more structured approach to gender balance (thanks to IOC policies), still faces challenges ranging from the participation of transgender athletes to the deep-seated impact of cultural barriers.
Yevgen PAVLYUK Anna PAVLIUK Copyright (c) 2025 Євген ПАВЛЮК, Анна ПАВЛЮК https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 59 64 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.6 THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SUB-CRITERIA OF THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF INTERNATIONAL SPORTS COMPETITIONS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/500
An important task of contemporary research is to determine the significance of individual sub-criteria of the economic impact of international sports events in order to develop a sound system for evaluating their effectiveness. This will make it possible to formulate evidence-based recommendations for the planning of sports events and the use of their potential for the development of physical culture and sports in Ukraine. Purpose of the study – to determine the significance of the sub-criteria of the economic impact of international sports events on the development of physical culture and sports in Ukraine and to identify the most informative indicators for a comprehensive assessment of this impact. Methods. In 2024–2025, an expert survey (n = 23) was conducted using Google Forms among specialists in the field of sports economics. Results. The growth of tourist flows and the volume of investments in sports infrastructure are the most informative sub-criteria of economic impact, confirming their long-term effect on the sector. The number of jobs created is also significant, especially for regional economic development. At the same time, revenues from advertising and sponsorship require stronger utilization to increase their impact on the economy. The most informative indicator is the total volume of investments in the construction and modernization of sports facilities, as it reflects the scale of impact and its long-term effect. The results confirm that the change in the number of tourists is the most informative indicator of the economic impact of international sports events, as it reflects the dynamics of the effect and is easily measurable. Additional tourist expenditures and the total number of visitors are important supplementary indicators, but for an objective assessment of their impact, it is necessary to take into account the structure of expenditures and long-term trends. The combined use of these indicators provides a more complete picture of the economic benefits of hosting sports events. The most informative indicator is the number of new jobs created during the organization of competitions, as it reflects both short- and long-term economic effects. New jobs in the service sector also have a high level of informativeness, as these sectors largely depend on activity during events. Jobs in the sports sector are an important indicator; however, their impact is limited by the specifics of the industry. The total volume of revenues from advertising and sponsorship is a key indicator for assessing the economic impact of international sports events, while the average income per sponsor and the number of sponsors should be used as supplementary indicators to form a comprehensive assessment of financial efficiency. Conclusion. The average investment per capita and investments in community sports programs received lower ratings due to their local nature and the complexity of assessing their real impact on physical culture and sports as a whole.
Evhenii PRYSTUPA Ivanna BODNAR Yuliia PYSKO Copyright (c) 2025 Євгеній ПРИСТУПА, Іванна БОДНАР, Юлія ПИСКО https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 65 74 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.8 ANALYSIS OF CURRENT APPROACHES TO THE TREATMENT OF TYPE TWO DIABETES https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/514
The article reviews modern approaches to the treatment of type two diabetes mellitus as one of the most relevant chronic diseases in the world and in Ukraine. Type two diabetes, which accounts for the majority of all diabetes cases, is a serious global health problem. Diabetes mellitus is an endocrine and metabolic disease that occurs as a result of the influence of endogenous and exogenous factors. Its development is associated with absolute or insufficient insulin deficiency, which leads to metabolic disorders in the body. It is emphasized that the disease covers all age groups of the population, and its spread is largely due to negative changes in lifestyle, in particular, physical inactivity, unbalanced nutrition, excess body weight, as well as the impact of chronic stress, especially in conditions of martial law. The questionnaire covered current barriers, needs, opportunities, and expected digital solutions. Respondents ranked the main factors that, in their opinion, hinder physical activity and the formation of patriotic consciousness among schoolchildren. The study aimed to identify the main barriers and key components for developing a modern digital model for increasing the level of physical activity and patriotic education of schoolchildren based on an expert survey of teaching staff. The results of the study of teaching staff indicate that the key barriers to increasing physical activity and patriotic education among schoolchildren are insufficient funding, limited material and technical resources, and excessive overload with theoretical material. Respondents most often cited encouraging students to participate in activities, developing the appropriate infrastructure, and providing systematic support for teachers' professional growth as priority areas for investment. The most significant components of the future digital model were interactivity, online access to educational materials, a personalised approach to students, and administrative and collegial support. The importance of integrating patriotic content as a mandatory element of the digital model received high support among respondents. Thus, analysing barriers and identifying key components serve as the basis for building a modern digital model capable of effectively promoting increased physical activity and patriotic education among schoolchildren in today's challenges and threats. This strategy aims not only to enhance athletes' readiness but also to serve as a foundation for building a long-term, effective training system for qualified athletes. Objective: To characterize the essence of a differentiated physical training program for 12–13-year-old athletes in ITF Taekwon-Do. Methods: Theoretical analysis, synthesis of literature and online resources, pedagogical testing, and methods of mathematical statistics. The methodological foundation of the differentiated approach lies in considering individual indicators of general and specific physical fitness of 12–13-year-old taekwondo athletes. Physical readiness was assessed using ITF Taekwon-Do programmatic and normative guidelines, complemented by recommendations from martial arts specialists. Results: Implementation of the experimental program was enabled through objective grouping of athletes according to priority physical fitness criteria, conducting small-group training sessions, and combining general, auxiliary, and specialized physical training tools. Well-structured workload distribution in accordance with the principles of progression and cyclicity, along with a balanced integration of comprehensive and differentiated components within micro- and mesocycles, created favorable conditions for achieving sustainable training effects. This aligns with modern trends in sports science focused on developing athletic mastery while accounting for each athlete’s individual development pace. Conclusions: The developed differentiated physical training program integrates the comprehensive development of physical qualities with targeted correction of weaker aspects—i.e., the differentiated component of the training process. It has been established that in competitive activities, boxers need to effectively perform motor tasks that arise in the dynamic and unpredictable conditions of a fight. Solving such problems is directly related to the level of development of coordination abilities, which primarily determines the prospects for athletes' further professional improvement.

An analysis of scientific and methodological literature has shown that the structure of agility and coordination includes a set of independent types of coordination abilities that have specific features of manifestation in boxing. They can be differentiated by the nature of motor actions, the criteria for their assessment, and the factors that determine the level of development of these abilities.

The effectiveness of technical and tactical actions in boxing, in particular punches, dodges, movements, and combination actions, largely depends on the athlete's ability to coordinate the movements of the upper and lower limbs, maintain balance, orientate themselves in space, and react to the opponent's actions in a timely manner. A high level of coordination training contributes to the economical use of energy resources, increased speed and strength indicators, accuracy of technical actions, and stability of competitive activity.

It has been established that the level of development of boxers' coordination abilities is determined by the complex interaction of psychophysiological functions: sensorimotor, proprioceptive, perceptual, and intellectual. The highest results in competitive activities are achieved by athletes who have developed sensory-perceptual abilities that ensure speed of reaction, accuracy of perception of an opponent's movements, and optimal tactical decision-making.

The main factors influencing the manifestation of coordination abilities in young boxers have been identified, and the feasibility of using special exercises aimed at developing balance, sense of rhythm, spatial orientation, and coordination of movements has been substantiated. In the current conditions of Ukraine, characterised by both the consequences of military actions and limited resources in the healthcare system, there is a considerable shortage of access to properly fitted wheelchairs. Many users are provided with devices that do not correspond to their anthropometric parameters, functional abilities, or environmental requirements. This results in reduced comfort, inefficient use, secondary health complications, and a shortened service life of the wheelchair. Therefore, the implementation of international approaches, particularly the recommendations of the International Society of Wheelchair Professionals (ISWP) and the World Health Organization (WHO), becomes critically important for the optimisation of wheelchair provision in Ukraine.

The article analyses the WHO four-step model of assistive device provision, which consists of assessment, selection, fitting/adjustment, and user training. Special emphasis is placed on the methodology of anthropometric measurements, which serves as the foundation of the assessment stage. Detailed attention is given to measurement techniques for pelvic width, thigh length, lower leg length, and back height. These parameters are crucial for ensuring proper biomechanics, ergonomic positioning, and functional mobility of the user. The study also addresses the risks of neglecting precise measurements, including the development of pressure ulcers, postural deformities, and limitations in daily activities.

Furthermore, the article highlights the necessity of adapting international wheelchair fitting methods to the Ukrainian context. Such adaptation will contribute to increased efficiency, safety, and durability of wheelchairs while also supporting the user’s independence and participation in society. Another essential component is the preparation of qualified professionals capable of conducting systematic assessment, selection, and fitting of wheelchairs. The development of training programmes and educational infrastructure is identified as a strategic priority.

In conclusion, the paper outlines prospects for future research, which include the creation of unified national protocols for wheelchair assessment and fitting, analysis of specific needs among different categories of users, and improvement of the professional training system. These steps are expected to establish a sustainable framework for high-quality wheelchair provision in Ukraine and ensure better integration of people with spinal cord injuries into everyday life.
Viktor MUZYKA Viktoriia ZHUCHENKO Copyright (c) 2025 Віктор МУЗИКА, Вікторія ЖУЧЕНКО https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 178 184 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.21 INNOVATE TECHNOLOGY STICK MOBILITY TECHNOLOGY IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF HUMAN MOVEMENTS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/505
In article presented for consideration are aspects of using “Stick Mobility” – innovate technology for improving the quality of movements in everyday life among all segments of the population among all segments of population. The intensification of international competition and the emphasis on achieving high sports results during youth years have led to the active implementation of early specialization in children's and youth sports. This approach involves a targeted focus on one sport, with minimal reliance on general physical training methods and other types of physical activity. At first glance, this strategy creates opportunities for faster acquisition of technical and tactical skills, enhanced sports performance, and the establishment of prerequisites for a future sports career. However, numerous scientific studies and practical observations highlight several contradictions associated with early specialization. Key issues include an increased risk of overstrain and injuries to the musculoskeletal system, limitations in the development of coordination abilities, disruptions in proportional physical development, reduced motivation and interest in sports due to psychological burnout. Particularly concerning is that early specialization is often accompanied by a lack of comprehensive physical and emotional development, which can negatively impact the child's personality formation and their future in sports.

Thus, a fundamental contradiction arises: between the necessity for achieving quick results in children's and youth sports and the need to preserve health, ensure harmonious development, build long-term work capacity, and sustain motivation for sports activities.

Analysis of contemporary research indicates that the professional training of a coach-instructor in youth sports should integrate pedagogical, psychological, medical-biological, and innovative components within a clear structure encompassing theoretical, methodological, practical, and reflexive elements. The role of the family and social environment in shaping the sports milieu, alongside the psychological and physiological characteristics of adolescents that determine their developmental specificity, are examined. Synthesizing international and domestic studies highlights the lack of convincing evidence supporting the benefits of early sports specialization for most sports types and the significant risks, including increased injury rates and psychosocial issues. Simultaneously, emphasis is placed on preventing overload, burnout, and ensuring the harmonious development of children and adolescents. Future scientific endeavors should prioritize longitudinal comparisons of athlete training models, optimization of selection systems, and enhancement of educational programs for coaches.

The conducted study revealed that the phenomenon of early sports specialization in youth sports has a contradictory nature. On the one hand, it ensures the rapid development of specialized skills and provides certain advantages in sports disciplines with an early performance peak. On the other hand, numerous scientific findings and practical observations confirm the presence of serious risks associated with overexertion, injuries, disproportionate physical development, psychological exhaustion, and reduced motivation. The systematization of current research indicates a lack of compelling evidence supporting the long-term benefits of early sports specialization for most sports and highlights the predominance of its negative consequences over potential advantages. Therefore, the advisability of early sports specialization requires critical reevaluation, and the training of young athletes should be based on principles of versatility, individualization, health preservation, and long-term perspective. A key factor is the professional preparation of the coach-teacher, which encompasses pedagogical, psychological, medical-biological, and innovative components, as well as close interaction with parents and the social environment.
Yevgen PAVLYUK Vadym SIRYI Viktor TSISAR Copyright (c) 2025 Євген ПАВЛЮК, Вадим СІРИЙ, Віктор Цісар https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 194 200 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.23 MORPHOMETRY OF THE ABDOMINAL WALL AND PELVIS IN PUBERTAL GIRLS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/511
The study investigated morphometric characteristics of the anterior abdominal wall and spatial pelvic parameters in pubertal girls considering the phases of sexual maturation. Stadiums and arenas have become not only venues for competitions, but also centers of culture, leisure and communication, performing an important social and economic role in society.
Yurii DUTCHAK Oleksandr SOLTYK Copyright (c) 2025 Юрій ДУТЧАК, Олександр СОЛТИК https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 219 225 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.26 FACTOR ANALYSIS OF COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY INDICATORS OF QUALIFIED HANDBALL GOALKEEPERS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/503
The article presents the results of a factor analysis of the competitive performance indicators of qualified handball goalkeepers. The study was conducted based on official statistical data from the IHF World Championship 2025. The sample included 10 goalkeepers with the highest efficiency indicators (Save%). The analysis used principal component analysis (PCA) and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The results allowed us to identify two key factors: the intensity of participation and the quality of goalkeeper actions. Correlation analysis showed that the closest relationship is observed between the number of shots and the total number of saves (r = 0.95), which is a logical confirmation of the interdependence of the workload and the goalkeeper's performance - the more attacks on the goal, the more chances for the goalkeeper to make a save. The average level of correlation between efficiency (%) and the number of saves (r = 0.35). This means that a high number of saves does not always guarantee a high efficiency percentage. Saves/game showed a better correlation with efficiency (r = 0.41) than total saves. This shows the importance of normalizing the data by the number of games. Matches have a relatively weak correlation with efficiency (r = 0.10), which proves that the quality of the goalkeeper's game is more important than the number of matches played. The factor model allowed us to identify two main factors, which determine the goalkeeper's success: component (PC1) summarizes the "volume of work" (number of shots, saves, matches), while the second (PC2) reflects to a greater extent the "quality of actions" (effectiveness of saves).

Thus, the conducted study proved the effectiveness of using modern statistical methods (PCA and EFA) for objective analysis of goalkeepers' competitive activities. The obtained results can be used in the practice of sports training, as well as in further scientific works aimed at in-depth study of the specifics of game roles in handball.
Vira BAZYLCHUK Oleg BAZYLCHUK Мariia POLIAK Copyright (c) 2025 Віра БАЗИЛЬЧУК, Олег БАЗИЛЬЧУК, Марія ПОЛЯК https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 226 232 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.27 USE OF TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION SUPPORT TO INCREASE THE OBJECTIVENESS OF JUDGING IN SPORTS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/507
The article discusses issues related to the study of the use of various technical means and equipment to ensure the objectivity of refereeing. Numerous examples of such technical support are given. Technological progress, information and computer technologies have significantly influenced the increase in the objectivity of refereeing. The use of special computing systems, analytical systems, and hardware complexes in certain sports has become a mandatory requirement when holding sports competitions of the appropriate level. The level of technical support for competitive activities, including refereeing, is determined, on the one hand, by technological progress, and, on the other hand, by the specifics of sports. Mostly more complex sports in terms of the volume of game moments, the presence of technical elements and motor actions, require more complex work of judges, which also requires better technical support and the use of measuring equipment.

Using a research method such as interviews with leading professional practitioners, it was possible to identify various controversial game situations and competitive moments in certain sports that require referees to make difficult decisions.

Among the difficult controversial moments during refereeing, the following were identified: double touching of the ball during an overhead pass in volleyball; fixing the taking of the scoring field with a large number of players in rugby; determining the shuttlecock hitting the field when performing a high-distance hit in badminton; determining the athlete who was the first to go outside the mat in freestyle wrestling; establishing an error related to changing the starting position during the bench press in powerlifting.

The authors of the article proposed a number of ways to improve the objectivity of refereeing through the use of various technical means and measuring equipment. In particular, some technical solutions to improve refereeing were proposed in volleyball, badminton, freestyle wrestling, rugby and powerlifting.
Oleksandr SOLTYK Oleg KVASNYTSYA Oleksandr ANTONIUK Copyright (c) 2025 Олександр СОЛТИК, Олег КВАСНИЦЯ, Олександр АНТОНЮК https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 3 233 240 10.31891/pcs.2025.3.28 GENDER SOCIOLOGY IN THE WORKS OF DOMESTIC RESEARCHERS https://pcs.khmnu.edu.ua/index.php/pcs/article/view/521
The article is devoted to analyzing the formation and development of gender sociology in the works of domestic scientists.
